TUMBLED
MARBLE
AND TRAVERTINE
| To create this space, Landon combined the laundry, furnace room, master closet and master bath into one room. Note the unusual "wall windows," used by Mr. Landon to connect this master bath to natural light, coming in through windows in the living areas. It was otherwise a dim room, in the center of a condominium. (The "column" to the left conceals plumbing for the units above and below the owner's.) Cabinetry is crafted out of hand-selected, rift-cut white oak. The owner found the light fixture--it uses candles for a romantic ambience--over the undermounted tub and selected the finishes. Cabinet hardware is by Aguerro and Sarti. |
